These images are from The Angel Company. This is one of the New stamp set that I had to have... I usually do not do much with cutie stamp but these are so darn cute I could not pass it up! So here I was with my new stamp set and not an idea in mind... Geese really that was not fair at all... So I decided to stamp the images for maybe some inspiration... Nope did not work... So I then decided to color them to see how I like them colored... I took my Copic markers out and went to town this part was a lot of fun for sure!!! Inspiration never came, but I finally put it into cards... Not the greatest for sure but still not that bad!

Back to playing with my brayer I made this card... Using the Island set from the angel company. I extended the island to make look like a shore line and used sunset colors to give it a soothing feel. Once done I cut the picture and mated both pieces separately.

Chalk Technique...

Well I discovered a new Chalk technique and I had to try it out, and what better with this New stamp set from the angel Company. I will be posting a tutorial on this technique in a while ( as soon as I have the time to do so...). I really like the softness that the chalk bring to the image, almost comparable to watercoloring.
I just added a little bit of glitter to her hair ties to show my girlishness. Let me know what you think.

I made this card wanting to use this tree... I just love trees... I think stamp collection has to be about 40% trees and 10% Birds... I am just so i lve with nature and their trees. A Simple design but to the point I think! Hope Who I sent it too will like it... Maybe She'll leave me a little note on this post? Well I trying to keep it coming... I made a card for Valentine's day for My Hubby... We usually do not exchange anything but I was in the mood for something whimsy...
I Stamped the green for the tree than the Trunck and with Glue dots attached the heart shape buttons, which a Threated with paper thread.
A big Red Bowto the side... and Punch out I love you with my Quickcutz... The only thing i own is this alphabet but I find it really useful when I need some letters or saying that do look like I want it...All in all it was a fun card to make ... And I think he liked it... Maybe I should of wait for the race to be over to give it to him...

I used the blue "Sail Boat Blue" from Adirondack and "Moonstruck" and "Grey Wool" from CTMH.

I made this card with SPRING time in my head. I decided to get out of my confort zone and use some colors that i do not use often "Pool" and "Citrus". Since it was spring i wanted some pink and i used Brilliance "Twilight" for the"leaves".

This was one of the ones we made in the brayer class I offered on Saturday!

A Challenge!

Following are the pieces that were distributed for the challenge that was due last week! Well Thanks to Sandy that was not easy to put all these pieces in one card!

So here is what I made! With my new set from SU I had a lot of fun making an other brayer card! I used some gold ink to give some shimmer on the field a brayered sky. I did a lot of masking and finally colored the barn red with my trustee copic marker!

This challenge had to be a birthday card!!! I brayered the tag blue to make it pop! If you look closely all the pieces are there but it sure was not as easy as it looks!

Every Month we have a crad exchange betwwen girls. We are to make 10 cards sometime with a theme sometime not. For this exchange we were to make a birthday card. I seen this card made on splitcoast and changed it a little to my liking! Everyone had a different color.

I colored the trunk and branches with my copic marker ( I love them so much)!

Buttons and background papers are all different from different company I used my scrap!

This is the picture I took and following are the cards I created inspired by this Scene.
It was a trial and error, many finished in the trash but now I think I came as close as i wanted to. Let me know what you think... Looking at the picture or looking at the card I really do not get any warmer...

This card is the one I like best I made my landscape then once finished stamped some snow dot all over in white then with White embossing powder made a 3D effect.

In this card I used a holographic embossing powder.. It look good but not quite what i was looking for I guess it would of worked if we had a little bit of sun.

When I made this card I was grabbing any stamp realted to nature and tried to create something that would not look too bad. I have been dreaming landscape lately... Everytime I am outside I am looking for some inspiration, looking for that "waouhhhh" factor to recreate... Of course I never have my camera so it makes it a litlle tough to explain. So since it has been snowing like crazy for the past dayzzzzz I finally had my camera out with me and took some shots.. I am working on it trying to recreate what I have seen with a twist of my own so be on the look out I'll be posting it soon.... You can't really tell in this picture... but there is glitter on the flower bud. I used my favorite little pen. Gelly Roll from Sakura "clear star"...

A Walk On The Beach

Tonight, I went for a walk.....

The many smells of the night air;
fir trees, sand, grasses and the sea
surround me in the cool, twilight breezes,
while a pure, silver-white moon rises majestically.

Stars begin to pop out like twinkling fairy lights.

Night birds, crickets and frogs fill the air
with the sounds of the night - as I walk softly.

Pleasure surrounds me as I take it all in.
My senses are alert and my eyes are full of delight.
I am a small part of the universe, problems diminish
and I know again how to drink in and feel the light.

I can't describe the rustling trees well enough to do it justice nor can I paint a good enough picture of the moonlit sea.
All I can hope to do in these words of mine
are to get across the breathtaking gladness I feel - to be me.

Just playing with my favorite color... all the different shades of H2O's to create this Christmas card.
And yes RED is my favorite color... Usually fall and Christmas are my best moment ...
I simply stamped the image in Versamark then gold embossed it. Painted with many different colors of red and gold... A little red stickles in the center on the flower gives it a nice touch, though does not show up on the picture.
I made more than 60 cards for this Christmas season and I am pretty proud to say that not two of them are the same. Hope you received yours!

Yes indeed a real long time since I posted anything on my blog!

Sorry!!!!! But this summer has been crazy busy! Remi went to the YMCA camp every day I was working and also trying to scrap some. One of my last posts was the “Blog Candy “and I never announced the winners… Shame on me!!! We had two winners one from The USA and one from France. (Sandy and Marie-Pierre).

I made many cards and some scrapbooking during this time and I will start posting them soon! I also went to Las Vegas with my hubby and had a wonderful time, we escaped one day to the Grand Canyon (absolutely mind blowing! And some really neat scrapbook pages to come) and we also renewed our vows (10 years after all is worth celebrating!)

I am currently preparing some Card class for the month of September and October and also I am getting ready for many events still to come … In September I will offer two Classes a “H2O class” were you’ll get 3 H2O pot and we will make a card set and its box. The other Class will be a “Brayer Class”, I will show some different techniques and we will make a box set of card! (This could make a great idea for a Christmas Gift!) In October I will be partnering with a CTMH Consultant (Katherine) and we will offer a Christmas Card Class. Ten cards that you’ll be able to utilize for the upcoming Holidays.

On the 22^nd, yes this Saturday we are going to Chicago to a Scrapbook Expo… I am so exited!!! Sandy and Ellen will be my Co Pilots so for sure we will have fun! Nothing in September yet but, New York City here I come again!!! In October, I am taking Sandy to show her a little piece of wonder that is also called the Big Apple (How Fitting for a teacher don’t you think?).

Oui oui meme trop longtemps sans poster de message sur mon blog!

Cet été , de la folie!!! Remi était au centre aéré tous les jours( il adore!) Moi boulot boulot et scrapping… Un de mes dernier post était un Blog bonbon… et je n’ai jamais annonce les gagnants. Deux gagnants Sandy (USA) et Marie-Pierre (France). Donc Félicitations les filles!

J’ai crée plein de carte et fait un peu de scrapbook cet été, je commence a poster très bientôt pour vous donner une idée. Avec Jeff nous sommes allés a Las Vegas, impressionnant, nous nous sommes même débrouillé pour aller au Grand Canyon(waouhhhhhhhh) le photos pour le scrapbook sont merveilleuse! Et avec Jeff nous nous sommes “Re”Marié pour nos 10 ans de mariage! Romantique a n’en plus pouvoir!

En ce moment je prépare plein de classes pour cet automne et j’avoue cela occupe la plupart de mon temps libre(qui est déjà bien limite)

Hier c’était le premier jour d’école pour Remi ( le CP).. un peu intimide mais il a survécu après tout...

You got to know that this was for me one of the greatest of my scrapping day ever!!!! A big bunch of us all got together to create and donate... Let me explain.

We spent our day scrapping ( Our Passion), we scrapped the front of note pad. (5 3/4 x 8 1/5). Then attached the fronts to note pad and attached ribbon to the spiral. We made a total of ..... yes 133... can you believe it!!!!!!

Foundation does a lot and this is where our notebook will go:
A gift box is presented to an adult patient upon his/her first chemo or radiation treatment as a sign of hope and promise. Each gift includes a hand crafted shawl, a general prayer card, a scroll with words of inspiration from cancer survivors, and often includes a small Teddy Bear or relaxing CD.... And now a note book will be added to the gift box...

Want to say that I am sorry for not posting in a couple of weeks. Life has been pretty crazy an blogging was the last thing on my mind. I believe I have about 15 posts to get ready and post!!! So little by little I promise to update all the different event that have happening!

Hard for me to believe, but I've been keeping this little blog o' mine since June 2nd 2008! That makes my 1 year Blogversary to be there real soon! I think I should celebrate with some Blogversary GOODIES!

Color pencil on black paper!

I think this is a really cute card!!! I colored the image with water color pencils but did not water it down... The finish is really nice... This one is for Mother's day for my mom!!! I will post more card for mother's day just for different mom's in m life!

Aproximately once a month we do a card exchange. You have to make 9 and you get nine back. I had a lot of fun making this one! If you look at the pictures on the tree is different, that is the card I made to send to my mom for Arbor day!!!
Une fois par mois avec les filles nous avons un échange de carte. Tu en fais 9 et tu en en 9 différente en échange! Je me suis régale de faire celles ci. SI tu regardes de prés il y a une carte avec un arbres un peu différent, cette carte je l'ai faite pour Catherine pour "Arbor Day"!!!

Ugly Paper Card Class!

This is the Ugly Paper card Class... La Carte du papier moche...

It all started when i sent an email asking for 2 pieces of the ugliest paper they had and knew for sure they would not use... The week end before a stack of really not pretty paper was left at my house after a party! after sending an email asking for some ugly paper I received this one back from Ellen: "Did you get the stack of ugly paper I left for you the last time we met? I meant to tell you about it that night at dinner but forgot. That was from me, and just for this type of purpose (or did you think the ugly paper fairy came?). "And this is how it all started!!! So thanks to Ellne we add some fun... I just want to mention that some pf the papers were too ugly to be used and probaly the uglier of all the paper in world fairy will have to pick them up some day!!! He he for sure we will find some kind of use for it!

Tout commencé quand j'ai envoyé un email demandant 2 page de papier le plus laid que les filles ont en leur possession et qu'à coup sûr elles n'emploieraient pas… Le week-end avant une pile de papier vraiment très moche a été laissé à ma maison après une partie ! après envoi un email demandant du papier moche pour cette classe j'ai reçu cet email d'Ellen : "Est-ce que tu as trouve la pile de papier moche que j'ai laisser chez toila dernière fois où nous avons eu une party ? J'ai voulu te le dire mais j'ai oublié. C'était de moi, juste pour ce genre de classe (ou as tu pensé que la fée de papier moche êtes venu ?). " ; Et c'est comme ça que a tout commencé ! ! ! Ainsi grâce à Ellen nous ajoutons de l'amusement a nos créations de cartes… Je veux juste mentionner que certain des papiers étaient trop laid pour être utilisés !

Card Challenge Number 6 "Green & Pink Polkadots"

Here we are with Challenge number 6... This is my baby... How to challenge the people I know to do what they love best "Scrapbooking" and put them outside their comfort zone... OK this one was not too difficult so some of the colors were kind of outside the regular ones!!!
I gave them all the following items to use:

Green with pink polka dot cardstock card
Felt green Leaf
2 Google eyes
4 inch of pink threaded wire
4 weeks to do the project and Bring it back

Nous voici avec le défi le numéro 6… Ce défi C'est mon bébé… Comment défier les copines de scrapbook dans leur élément le" Scrapbooking" Et les sortir de leur zone de confort… VRAI celui-ci n'était pas trop difficile Mais certaines des couleurs étaient un peu poussé ! ! ! Je leur ai donné tous les articles ci dessous à l'utilisation (voir photo ci dessus):

Carte verte avec des jolie point rose
Des Feuille verte en "Felt"
2 yeux qui gigote
4 pouces de fil fileté rose
4 semaines pour faire le projet et pour le ramener

This card is ev's... Ev's never like the chalenge but I am sure she is having a blast and just do not want to tell us... So she did not complained as much on this one! Cute little Snail ... Voila la carte d'Ev(elyn) une personne extra, vraiment extra, quelq'un a rencontrer une fois dans votre vie....

Voici la carte d'Ellen... Ellen est la femme de Lew. Lew est l'homme qui m'a presente a Jeff.... Jeff l'homme de ma vie!!! This card is Ellen's and we for sure we'll have to keep her around she sure is a gourmet Chef ( she made homemade Boursin cheese, She had me with cheese but Boursin...No question ...)and does really cool card too....

This one is Catherine Card... My mom... She joined her club a while ago and she sure challenge our vision of things... Voila celle de Catherine!!! ( ma Moman) ma meilleure amie du monde entier et de l'univers aussi!!! :)

For the last card exchange I was not ready... Really not ready I made them the night before yes all 10 of them and it was tough to get inspiration...
Looking threw my stuff I found these cool butterfly that I had bought at Michaels on sale from the Bridal department... Of course I went to pink again... and VOILA... a card!!!

Pour le dernier échange de carte je n'étais pas prête… Vraiment pas prête... je les ai faite la soirée avant... En plus 10 a faire... l'inspiration n'a pas étais des meilleures mais… En farfouillant dans mes trouvailles j'ai trouvé ces papillons que j'avais acheté chez Michaels en promo au département des truc de mariage… Bien fatigue avec des neurone un peu débranché… et VOILA… une carte ! ! !

A very happy birthday to Catherine ( my mommy)... I made this card thinking of her and I am now covered in ink... Again here is a technique that I had never used... Pretty fun to do and quite amazing how different it loooks using different paper quality...
