Petit papa Noël is a French Christmas carol. As far as I know, there is no equivalent English version of this Christmas carol. The translation given here is literal.

C'est la belle nuit de Noël
La neige étend son manteau blanc
Et les yeux levés vers le ciel
À genoux, les petits enfants
Avant de fermer les paupières
Font une dernière prière.

It's a beautiful Christmas night
Snow spreads its white coat
And eyes lift toward the sky
On their knees, small children
Before closing their eyes
Say a last prayer.

Petit papa Noël
Quand tu descendras du ciel
Avec des jouets par milliers
N'oublie pas mon petit soulier.
Mais avant de partir
Il faudra bien te couvrir
Dehors tu vas avoir si froid
C'est un peu à cause de moi.

Little Santa Claus
When you come down from the sky
With thousands of toys
Don't forget my little stocking.
But before you leave
You should dress well
Outside you will be so cold
And it's kind of my fault.

Le marchand de sable est passé
Les enfants vont faire dodo
Et tu vas pouvoir commencer
Avec ta hotte sur le dos
Au son des cloches des églises
Ta distribution de surprises.

The sandman has passed
The children are going to sleep
And you will be able to begin,
With your sack on your back,
To the sound of church bells,
Your distribution of surprises.

Il me tarde que le jour se lève
Pour voir si tu m'as apporté
Tous les beaux joujoux que je vois en rêve
Et que je t'ai commandés.

I can't wait for sunrise
To see if you brought me
All the lovely toys that I see in my dreams
And that I ordered from you.

Et quand tu seras sur ton beau nuage
Viens d'abord sur notre maison
Je n'ai pas été tous les jours très sage
Mais j'en demande pardon.

And when you are on your beautiful cloud
Come first to our house
I wasn't always very good
But I ask for your forgiveness.

A Walk On The Beach

Tonight, I went for a walk.....

The many smells of the night air;
fir trees, sand, grasses and the sea
surround me in the cool, twilight breezes,
while a pure, silver-white moon rises majestically.

Stars begin to pop out like twinkling fairy lights.
The ocean murmurs and laps the shore tenderly.
Night birds, crickets and frogs fill the air
with the sounds of the night - as I walk softly.

Pleasure surrounds me as I take it all in.
My senses are alert and my eyes are full of delight.
I am a small part of the universe, problems diminish
and I know again how to drink in and feel the light.

I can't describe the rustling trees well enough to do it justice nor can I paint a good enough picture of the moonlit sea.
All I can hope to do in these words of mine
are to get across the breathtaking gladness I feel - to be me.

Just playing with my favorite color... all the different shades of H2O's to create this Christmas card.
And yes RED is my favorite color... Usually fall and Christmas are my best moment ...
I simply stamped the image in Versamark then gold embossed it. Painted with many different colors of red and gold... A little red stickles in the center on the flower gives it a nice touch, though does not show up on the picture.
I made more than 60 cards for this Christmas season and I am pretty proud to say that not two of them are the same. Hope you received yours!

It has been such a long time! Cela fait bien longtemps…

Yes indeed a real long time since I posted anything on my blog!

Sorry!!!!! But this summer has been crazy busy! Remi went to the YMCA camp every day I was working and also trying to scrap some. One of my last posts was the “Blog Candy “and I never announced the winners… Shame on me!!! We had two winners one from The USA and one from France. (Sandy and Marie-Pierre).

I made many cards and some scrapbooking during this time and I will start posting them soon! I also went to Las Vegas with my hubby and had a wonderful time, we escaped one day to the Grand Canyon (absolutely mind blowing! And some really neat scrapbook pages to come) and we also renewed our vows (10 years after all is worth celebrating!)

I am currently preparing some Card class for the month of September and October and also I am getting ready for many events still to come … In September I will offer two Classes a “H2O class” were you’ll get 3 H2O pot and we will make a card set and its box. The other Class will be a “Brayer Class”, I will show some different techniques and we will make a box set of card! (This could make a great idea for a Christmas Gift!) In October I will be partnering with a CTMH Consultant (Katherine) and we will offer a Christmas Card Class. Ten cards that you’ll be able to utilize for the upcoming Holidays.

On the 22nd, yes this Saturday we are going to Chicago to a Scrapbook Expo… I am so exited!!! Sandy and Ellen will be my Co Pilots so for sure we will have fun! Nothing in September yet but, New York City here I come again!!! In October, I am taking Sandy to show her a little piece of wonder that is also called the Big Apple (How Fitting for a teacher don’t you think?).

The Angel Company Offer some great deals lately where hostesses get double rewards! If you are interested you only need a party of $100 to get these benefits. If you do not want the double benefit join with someone place a total of $100 and both can get the reward which would be a Level A stamp set and 1 Half price item from the book! If you are looking into getting a ScorPal, Cropodile, Big Bite or even a Bind It all you could get it for half price if you take advantage of this offer. All in all it is up to you!

Yesterday was Remi 1st day of school (1st Grade)! He was a little intimidated but I think he survived just fine!

Looking forward he hear from all of you!

I am going to try to translate all of that in French Not such an easy task so family and Friends overseas can follow some of my blog entries… ( So Lew this is pretty much a warning for you… )
